This is the first time I have had Avastin without the rest of the infusions. So I did not know how it would affect me. I had a crash, but not for days like before. It lasted about a day and a half. I also had the butt burn for 2 or 3 days. At least I'm not on the steroids. Those things multiplied the effects of the other stuff.
I had my ct scan. It showed a 2mm growth of one of the nodules in my lungs. So the doctor wants to continue the Xeloda pills and add the Avastin infusion. The Avastin is done at the hospital and does not require all the extra drugs that go along with my other chemo.
Meanwhile I'm trying to overcome my fatigue and get back some normality in life. That is hard to do when it is so cold outside.
